A parent-run space

RAQIM Family is a parent-run space inside the parent's own RAQIM account. It is designed to collect as little as possible about children.

Profiles

• A child profile is created by the parent, on the parent's signed-in account, behind the parent's PIN.
• Children have no account, e-mail address or password of their own.
• A nickname, an age group (4–6, 7–9 or 10–12) and a ready-made avatar are stored. A real name is not needed.

What is stored

• The nickname, age group and avatar.
• An activity history: what kind of activity took place and when (for example, a dua was read).
• When the child asks the Wise Assistant one of its questions, the question, the age group and the beginning of the answer are kept so the parent can see them.
• All of this is linked to the parent's account. The parent can see it and delete it at any time behind the PIN; deleting the account deletes it too.

No free messaging

There is no free-text input and no microphone in child mode. The Wise Assistant answers only a fixed list of questions; other requests are rejected by our server.

How the Wise Assistant answers

The answers are written by an AI model at the moment of asking, following rules we set: short, gentle, no religious rulings, no frightening images, and pointing the child to a parent for important topics. They are not reviewed by a person before they are shown. Each answer has a "Report this answer" link.

No advertising

Child mode shows no advertising and has no links that leave the app.

Reporting concerns

Use "Report this answer" under a Wise Assistant answer, or write to hello@raqim.co if you see anything in RAQIM Family that you think is unsuitable for children. We take all reports seriously and will respond within 48 hours.
