Your spiritual journey is private. RAQIM is built on a simple principle: we collect only what is necessary to make the product work, and we never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

What we collect

• Email address — when you join the waitlist or create an account.
• Usage data — anonymised interactions to improve the product (e.g. which features are used most).
• Device information — operating system and app version for debugging.
• Prayer times and location — only on your device, never stored on our servers.

What we do not collect

• We do not store your Quran recitations on our servers without your explicit consent.
• We do not track your location beyond what is needed for local prayer time calculation.
• We do not build advertising profiles or sell data to marketers.
• We do not use your spiritual habits data for any purpose other than delivering the product to you.

How we use your data

• To send waitlist and launch communications (via Loops — unsubscribe anytime).
• To improve RAQIM's features based on anonymised usage patterns.
• To provide customer support when you contact us.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@raqim.co. We will process your request within 30 days.

Children's privacy

RAQIM Family (our children's mode) is designed under strict parental controls. Children's data is governed by a separate Child Safety Policy. We do not knowingly collect data from children without verified parental consent.

Changes to this policy

We will notify waitlist members by email before any material changes to this policy take effect. The updated policy will always be available at raqim.co/privacy.
