Delete your RAQIM account

How to delete your account and the data linked to it.

This is a draft version intended for transparency and early review. It reflects our current principles and intentions. A formally reviewed version will be published before RAQIM’s public launch.

Delete in the app

Open RAQIM and go to Profile, then Settings.
Tap Delete My Account at the bottom of the page and confirm twice.
Your account and its data are deleted straight away. This cannot be undone.

If you cannot open the app

Send an e-mail to hello@raqim.co from the address you use for RAQIM, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm that the request comes from the account owner and delete the account within 30 days, then reply to tell you it is done.

What is deleted

Your account: e-mail address, name and password.
Your profile, settings, bookmarks and completed surahs.
Child profiles you created and their activity records.
Usage records linked to your account: sessions, usage events, error reports, reading comparison results and the assistant's daily question count.
If you took part in the test programme: also your survey answers and price research choices.

What is not deleted

If you took part in the test programme, the invite code itself remains, no longer linked to any account.
Usage events recorded before you signed in, which carry only a random device identifier and no account link.
Your prayer record, make-up prayer counts, fasting record and reading plan are kept only on your phone and never reach our servers. They are removed when you uninstall the app.
